6th of June

Well it was hand in day today, i managed to get everything up with only a few hicups on the way.

 A couple of the slips up i ran into today was the lack of a drill to screw in the bottom plate, there were alot of people using so i didnt get chance so i had to tack it in with nails which im not right happy with but had very little option.

The candle is a little larger than i had intended to bring in, the trouble being it didnt quite fit in the base made for a much small candle. I just really wanted a strong colour candle to really contrast the metal. So my own mistake that one.

And the main problem which again is another fault of my own, is the wood isnt quite cut as straight as i would have liked so i had some trouble with the top screw. They are just a few tweaks but they are the little things that make a piece come together, something i have to remeber next time.

 Well now we are all handed in i can finally relax and let my energy build back up, i have a feeling if i make it to the 2nd year i am going to need it.

Got a few nice projects for the summer to keep me busy, might update my tech journal with a few bits but this dear journal isnt going to be touched till i return in October.
