1st of June

Well today was intresting, i got up with the intention of taking the massive log i have as a stand to the HE center so i didnt have too much to carry around on wednesday. I managed to carry it in but jesus it was heavy and the amount of people that just kept saying hey got wood mate, god that got old.

After i had put it down i met up with Will and he started going over my desk with me, he point out two of the candle holder samples i had made that he said were quite nice pieces to go with the final one. I mentioned maybe if i took them home for the weekend put a finish on them similar to my final piece, he agreed so i took them down and brought them back.

 So this was me this afternoon working away putting some finish on the steel, you can see the two pieces me and will chose in both shots. I will be doing the finish on my final piece tommorow so pictures for that up after.

In other news i had Will turn up after his forging today with his piece in bits.

 The peice itself is looking really sharp as it is, just need a few finishing touches doing to it. He is coming over tommorow to use my grinder and blow torch and for my help in finishing it so busy day tommorow.
