1st of May

Well got into the forge and got myself forging up some sample.

 This is a really quick sample i wanted to get out to just get the ideas flowing, it just took me around 15 minutes to do it. Don't really like this myself but was a quick sample.

 This took me alot longer to make up, i wanted to make a sample of the stretch drawing i did at the start, i like this because it took alot more time and polished it up. I think the finish is something i really need to look into.

 This was a little dripping sample i wanted to make up try and get the feel for it, i was trying to steer clear of dripping completley until me and Mel got talking about dripping is just another kind of tension. I dont think it will be involved in this piece of work but in the future i want to work on this.

 This is a sample which didnt manage to finish before i left the forge, going to finish this tommorow and get to back to you about how i feel on it.

 I went into the HE center after forge to do a few bits and got working with the copper a bit, a little cutting and a little bending to make up the simple shape i have been working with alot.

 I was playing around with my older samples and i came up with this piece, i really like it myself think a little weld to make sure it doesnt fall apart then make something up at the top to make it a nice candle holder. One mans junk anothers treasure eh?
